  • Organizations are facing new obstacles with digital security every day. Given the volume and complexity of identities, data, applications, devices, and infrastructure, it is essential to understand how secure an organization is and how to mitigate and protect against threats, moving forward.

    The Customer
Qube Cinema is a pioneer in media technology, a company with a passion for cinema and a thorough understanding of film, video, audio, and computer technology along with vast experience in the production, post-production, and exhibition industries – a unique combination of expertise that has helped in the development of the company’s digital cinema technology. They are India’s leading provider of technology in the film, video and audio domains and have pioneered several technology revolutions over the last 25 years.

    The Challenge
The customer was using third-party Advanced Threat Protection for threat visibility at all their nodes – endpoint, email and network, deployed on premises at two of their main locations. The customers were facing multiple issues with signature sync, bandwidth, hardware failure and maintenance.
The Power Centre team has travelled a long way with this customer, walking with them on their path to Cloud adoption. As more and more workloads moved to the Cloud with the first being the movement of their mailing solutions to O365, the third-party appliance could not support the organization’s adoption of the Cloud. As the number of users grew, performance degradation became a major issue as the fixed appliance was unable to ramp up to meet the enhanced needs of the customer. Phishing and spam emails were very common, and the IT department had a tough time trying to track and mitigate all such issues across the organization.

    How the Workshop helped
The Microsoft Security workshop is a great way for customers to understand their maturity levels on different sectors of cybersecurity. The Power Centre team took the customers through the workshop with special emphasis on the Microsoft Defender, to alleviate their concerns about email and endpoint security.
The management was very happy at the level of detailing provided by the security products explained and wanted to upgrade to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender for O365.

    The Solution
With Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, the customer is now able to enjoy the following benefits –
    • Quick discovery, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities with threat & vulnerability management
    • Blockage of sophisticated threats and malware
    • Detection and response to advanced attacks with behavioral monitoring
    • Attack surface reduction and next-generation protection
    • Automated investigation and remediation

With Microsoft Defender for O365, the customer is now able to
    • Prevent a wide variety of targeted attacks including business email compromise, credential phishing, ransomware, and advanced malware.
    • Detect malicious and suspicious content and correlate attack patterns to identify and track attacks across Office 365.
    • Get extensive incident response and automation capabilities.

Power Centre Private Limited understands the compliance and security challenges today’s organizations face, with extensive experience working across verticals. Our expert, certified team will work to promote security and compliance across Microsoft platforms, offering actionable recommendations on how to increase technology adoption, governance, and security.

“We have been able to enhance our security defences with the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and O365. We are able to trust and leverage the powerful security features of Microsoft to detect and stop attacks anywhere in the chain and revert to a secure state.
Power Centre have been a great team to work with for the implementation of this solution. They are extremely knowledgeable and approachable, and they have played a vital role in helping us implement the right solutions to address our business needs.”
